Queen Camilla brought warmth and compassion to Little Bridge House children’s hospice in Barnstaple during a special visit on Tuesday, July 15, marking the facility’s 30th anniversary.
The royal engagement was shared across the Royal Family’s official Instagram, offering intimate glimpses of the Queen’s interaction with families, staff, and volunteers.
In the photos, Queen Camilla appeared joyful and gracious, donning a royal blue, long-sleeved dress paired with a woven clutch and coordinating bracelet, as she moved through the hospice’s welcoming spaces.
The Queen, wife of King Charles, explored several areas of the hospice and spent meaningful moments in the games room, engaging with children and families who benefit from the hospice’s vital services.
“In Barnstaple, The Queen has joined staff, volunteers and families in celebrating the 30th anniversary of @ChildrensHospiceSW (CHSW) at Little Bridge House,” read the official caption accompanying the royal images.
The palace continued: “CHSW Little Bridge House was the first of three hospices founded by Eddie and Jill Farwell to provide a peaceful and relaxing environment for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families across the South West of England.”
