Princess Charlotte and Prince George Join Kate and William at Wimbledon Men’s Final

Wimbledon welcomed some very special guests this afternoon, as Princess Charlotte and Prince George joined their parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, at the men’s singles final. Their outing to the prestigious tennis tournament added a royal sparkle to the final day of play at Centre Court.

Before the match began, the Wales family enjoyed a few behind-the-scenes moments. They were seen meeting this year’s Gentlemen’s Doubles Champions, a dedicated ball boy and ball girl, and the Wimbledon Foundation’s coin toss nominees, Ambrose Caldecott and Temi Johnson.

Conservationist and TV presenter Steve Backshall, an ambassador for Wimbledon’s ‘Championing Nature’ project, also greeted the royal family.

Noticeably absent from the outing was Prince Louis, the youngest of the three Wales children. While his siblings enjoyed the tennis festivities, Louis sat this one out.

This isn’t the first time George and Charlotte have graced Wimbledon with their presence. In 2023, both royal siblings attended the men’s final, which featured a thrilling face-off between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. This year, the appearances were split.

Charlotte was spotted in the royal box at the 2024 men’s final, accompanied by her mother and aunt, Pippa Matthews. Meanwhile, Prince George showed support for England by joining Prince William at the Euro 2024 final in Germany around the same time.

Just a day earlier, the Princess of Wales had made a solo appearance for the women’s final at Wimbledon. Looking poised and polished, she arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club to watch Amanda Anisimova take on Iga Świątek in what was expected to be a thrilling match.

The 43-year-old royal was elegance personified in a cream ensemble that featured a structured high-collared belted top and a flowing skirt. She paired the look with a £950 Anya Hindmarch tote bag, adding a refined touch to the outing. Completing the outfit was a traditional nod to the venue—a Wimbledon bow in the club’s iconic purple and green.
