Meghan Markle is celebrating a personal milestone from Montecito just as signs emerge that Prince Harry may be rebuilding ties with the British Royal Family.
The Duchess of Sussex, who recently launched her lifestyle brand As Ever, shared a new update following the debut of her Napa Valley rosé wine earlier this month. On Wednesday evening, local to California, Meghan posted a video showcasing a luxurious wine crate—complete with premium wooden packaging and the As Ever logo elegantly embossed on the lid.
Set to the upbeat track Please Mr. Postman by The Marvelettes, the short clip showed Meghan unveiling three bottles nestled inside the crate’s compartments. She captioned the video: “Sending birthday love – (both near and far) to my ladies.”
The post’s timing raised eyebrows. It came just hours after Buckingham Palace unveiled a new portrait of Queen Camilla ahead of her 78th birthday. The image, taken by royal photographer Chris Jackson, featured Camilla smiling warmly at her private residence in Wiltshire earlier this month.
While Meghan made no direct reference to the Queen, the message’s wording and timing suggested a gesture of goodwill. It follows recent headlines suggesting that Prince Harry and King Charles may be easing tensions after reports of a discreet “peace summit” between Sussex aides and the King’s senior communications secretary.
