Meghan Markle Sends Rosé Birthday Gifts Ahead of Queen Camilla’s 78th Birthday

On the eve of Queen Camilla’s 78th birthday, Meghan Markle took to Instagram to share a carefully styled video showing birthday packages being sent to unnamed recipients, drawing attention just as the British Royal Family prepared to mark the Queen’s milestone.

Posted on Wednesday, the video showed wooden boxes lined with straw, each holding bottles of Meghan’s As Ever rosé wine. In a follow-up clip, the wine bottles were seen arranged with fresh flowers and fruit in a picturesque setup. The caption read: “Sending birthday love (both near and far) to my ladies.”

One known recipient of this birthday gesture was Jamie Kern Lima, the co-founder of IT Cosmetics, who turned 48 on 16 July. Lima shared the surprise on her Instagram, posting a photo of the gift and writing: “@meghan thank you for the most magical birthday basket! Our friendship is a gift as is your beautiful soul!”

She added a second message: “@meghan this is the most beautiful birthday basket… truly magical! Thank you for your heart and your friendship!”

Lima celebrated her birthday at a Katy Perry concert, surrounded by close friends. “Celebrating my birthday with closest friends and so much love!” she wrote, expressing gratitude to Perry for “an INCREDIBLE experience” and noting that friends had flown across the country for the occasion.

The friendship between Meghan and Lima appears to extend well beyond gifting. Back in April, the Duchess of Sussex appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, marking her first-ever podcast guest appearance. During the interview, Meghan chose not to wear makeup, leaning into what Lima described as a “raw conversation.”

Topics in the episode included navigating public scrutiny, parenting Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and reflections on her evolving identity.

Meghan also touched on lighter moments, such as the nicknames she and Prince Harry share, the possibility of writing a memoir, and whether a political career could be in her future.

While Meghan has hosted her own podcasts—Archetypes on Spotify in 2022 and Confessions of a Female Founder via Lemonada Media this year—this interview marked her debut as a guest on someone else’s platform.
