Peter Phillips and Girlfriend Harriet Sperling Step Out for Stylish Wimbledon Date

Peter Phillips made a rare public appearance this week, attending Wimbledon with his girlfriend, Harriet Sperling. The couple were spotted in the stands on Wednesday, July 9, enjoying the iconic tennis championship at the All England Club in London.

Looking polished and elegant, Harriet Sperling, 44, stepped out in a breezy sky blue linen skirt set paired with stylish brown platform shoes. Peter, 47, kept it classic with a navy suit jacket and khaki trousers, looking every bit the royal gentleman.

The low-key couple has been dating since early 2024 but have kept their relationship largely private. They first stepped out together publicly in May at the Badminton Horse Trials, drawing attention as one of the newest royal-adjacent pairs.

Although Peter and Harriet have been discreet about their romance, this isn’t the first time she’s been seen with his family. Harriet joined Peter at the traditional New Year’s Day Racing Meet earlier this year, where they were accompanied by his sister Zara Tindall, her husband Mike Tindall, and their three children.

Peter was previously married to Autumn Kelly. The couple tied the knot in 2008 but announced their separation in 2019. Together, they share two daughters—Savannah, 14, and Isla, 13.

In a statement shared by Buckingham Palace in 2020, the former couple said, “After informing HM The Queen and members of both families last year, Peter and Autumn jointly agreed to separate. They had reached the conclusion that this was the best course of action for their two children and ongoing friendship.”

The palace emphasized their continued focus on parenting, adding, “Both Peter and Autumn have remained in Gloucestershire to bring up their two children where they have been settled for a number of years.”

After his divorce was finalized in 2021, Peter began dating Lindsay Wallace, a schoolmate from his younger days. The two made their official public appearance as a couple during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022. However, the relationship reportedly ended two years later.

Born in 1977 to Princess Anne and her former husband, Captain Mark Phillips, Peter is the Queen’s eldest grandson and cousin to Princes William and Harry. Despite his royal roots, Peter has often spoken about having a relatively down-to-earth upbringing.

In a 2014 interview with ABC News, he reflected on his childhood with William and Harry, saying, “We had fun, but we were kids, growing up as any other family would do. Going around to see your cousins as a normal family would do. As children, you don’t know any different.”
